Tail Up provides the ultimate guide for new pet owners from start to finish. It allows people to look up questions and it provides reliable information that is written by professional vets. At the same time, it creates a sense of community by allowing users to share their pet’s life in their feed. They could also use this as a dairy to save any important milestones their pets achieved.

PROBLEM

Owning a pet is an exciting experience, but learning how to take care of them could be stressful and intimidating for a lot of people because owning a pet is a life-long commitment and they are concerned that they will fail to take good care of their pets. New pet owners usually have limited knowledge and looking up information online could be skeptical because the source is usually unclear.

CHALLENGES

• How might we best support pet owners in the onboarding stage?

• How might we best help pet owners so they feel less lonely throughout the process?

SOLUTION

• Provide guidance supported by professionals for new pet owners

• Provide a platform for new pet owners to ask/answer questions

• Allowing new pet owners to preserve important milestones and memories using the “timeline” feature
